Grand Hotel Gulsoy Old City Istanbul

We loved the location of this hotel, right opposite a mosque in the old part of town, with lots of shopping nearby and the metro station only a short walk away. The room service was fantastic and the range of facilities was impressive - we took advantage of the car hire service and laundry service during our stay. The amenities in the room were top notch, including an in-room safe and plenty of sitting space. The staff here were so friendly and attentive, always making us feel welcome and providing great tours/ticket assistance.

The only drawback of this place was that one of the receptionists seemed more interested in his phone than giving us proper service at times. However, we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends due to the fantastic location and great service from the other staff members, especially the housekeeping team.

The rooms at this hotel are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The beds provide a great night's sleep and the bathrooms are also clean with a well-functioning shower. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a quieter room upon request. The underground parking was convenient with easy elevator access. There are stores and restaurants nearby, including a fantastic breakfast place with delicious pies. The staff are friendly and the location is excellent, with major mosques, restaurants, and a subway train station close by.

The soundproofing in the rooms was not great, leading to disturbances from noise outside and in the corridors. This could be a problem for light sleepers.

I requested a quiet room and was given an upgraded one with a great view. The rooftop pool and spa area were lovely. The location was convenient to shops and attractions. I recommend this hotel.

This hotel was situated near public transport, so much easier to get around. The staff were friendly and the hotel facilities werenice and neat. Breakfast was included and it was yummy.

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the underground train station that can connect you to various spots around the city right at the center. it is near by everything, including the famous Grand Bazar and the nearest mosque. The bathroom is impressive, and the staff offer quick service. The breakfast buffet is satisfying and they have a variety of amenities like having a safe in the room for your valuables.

The hotel's walls and windows do not provide enough sound protection causing guests to hear noise from the outside, sometimes disrupting sleep.
